Hosting
is a key element of any Internet site. All of the pages, images
and data that make up your site need to be uploaded to a Web
server that allows others to access the site over the Internet.
Therefore, once we've designed your site, you can either choose to host it yourself
(either by purchasing your own space or using existing space) or you can get
us to do it for you.
If you've got Web space as part of your Domain Name package
or Internet Service Provider (ISP) package, you may want to host the site yourself.
In other words, get us to provide a Design Only service
and up-load it yourself to your own Web space. However, this is usually fairly
low grade space and may not always be suitable.
Alternatively, we're happy to arrange it for you. Depending on your requirements,
we can recommend a range of hosts and can deal with them direct on your behalf.
We will ensure that all hosting packages we arrange or recommend meet your needs,
that they are reliable, and have very good download speeds - all of which are
essential to ensure your customers can access the information they want.
Good hosting packages do not need to be expensive,
we can arrange hosting from approximately £60 per year, depending on your requirements. This
usually also includes a significant number of email
accounts and access to web based email.
