Clearly this is not the most exciting office supply shop in existence but you get the idea.

Now let's try adding our own item.

Not only can dynamic sites display information already held in a database, you (or your visitors if you want to allow them) can also add, delete and amend records and the actions will immediately be shown on your site.

The next page will allow you to add your own item to the database. You can then view the list of items for sale again and see whether it appears.

For the purposes of this exercise, any items you add will be deleted once you leave the site. Of course any data you added to your own site would be stored until you chose to delete it.
